Hello everyone!

So for those of you who watch my streams occasionally and listen to my comments will know that I am a fan of DnD and especially a little show called Critical Role, where a bunch of nerdy-ass voice actors get together and play Dungeons and Dragons! The cast of Critical Role recently announced that they launched a kickstarter to help fund an animated special called the Legend of Vox Machina, and it has since grown to a several-episode series. The series will be animated by Titmouse animation company. I can go on and on about this project, I'm incredibly excited about it and I'm trying to spread the word and get more supporters involved!  Even if all this does is encourage you to watch the series, my work here will be done!

As a bonus though, I will give incentive to back this incredible project. Until the Kickstarter is over, I will offer a 20% discount on commissions with some proof of backing this project. This is a bit of trust and goodwill given that pledges can be changed, but I'm hoping this encourages at least a few people to help the cause! You will also be directly funding my pledge to this project, so hopefully it's a win-win situation for everyone.

I wish I had seen a post like this before I purchased this program years ago, so here's a small note for anyone interested... Clip Studio Paint is on sale for Black Friday. If you're in the market for a digital art program, you can get the PRO tier for $25US, which in my opinion has everything you could possibly need. The EX version has some additional features, none of which are really necessary if you're just looking to draw. The sale is on for two more days!

Things have been super busy with my new job but I think I'm finally settling down into a routine and not falling asleep as soon as I get home. As such, I'm re-opening commissions, though I'll be doing fewer of them than before. I'm also adjusting prices a bit. I realize this will deter some people, but I hope there's at least some understanding in this regard as I spend quite a lot of time on each piece I work on.

September is just around the corner, I can't believe summer is already almost over. Before we all know it, snow will be flying (depending on where you live, of course).  Now, the reason I'm posting this is because September is going to be a bit of a crazy month and I'm going to have a lot of things on my plate, so I'm going to be limiting commission slots quite drastically. If you and I have already discussed projects to be done, don't worry, those are still on. I can also be a bit more lax with quick projects like sketches and very simple pieces I can sit down to and get done within an hour or so. But as far as big projects go, I'm only going to be doing a couple, so if there's something you ~desperately~ want done before the end of the September, let me know so I can plan for it.  I'll open up again in October!
